city only selling tevez for 50m!

Manchester City have told Carlos Tevez he can leave - but only for £50million.
Tevez has reiterated his desire to leave City, but the club’s hierarchy say they will not sell him on the cheap and insist that any deal will be done on their terms.
City manager Roberto Mancini is ready to strip Tevez of the captaincy and hand the armband to Vincent Kompany following the Argentina international’s latest show of disloyalty.
But Tevez, currently on international duty in his homeland at the Copa America, said he is determined to push through with his plan to quit City.
I do not wish to be speak about this any more,” he said. “The message I have already sent out is clear enough.”
Tevez’s representatives said the 27-year-old has no desire for a fall-out with City and is desperate to reach an amicable agreement with the club over his depature.
“Carlos doesn’t want any controversy and desires a friendly solution with Manchester City,” said a source close to the striker.
But with City determined to play hardball with their want-away skipper, in terms of getting the maximum market value for their star player, Tevez and agent Kia Joorabchian could be forced to play a long, waiting game.
Real Madrid, Juventus and Inter Milan are seen as Tevez’s only options for an escape from his perceived nightmare at City, but there are few clubs willing or able to meet City’s £50m valuation and fork out £200,000-a-week on his wages.
Although Boca Juniors, the Buenos Aires club where Tevez began his career, are keen on taking him back, City’s asking-price has put them out of the running.
Although Tevez cited his reason for wanting to leave as a desire to be with his wife Vanessa and two daughters, who live in Buenos Aires, City believe such talk of personal reasons to be a smokescreen.
Having failed to engineer a move away from City for Tevez last December, Joorabchian is determined to secure a lucrative transfer for him and his client this time.
Tevez’s Argentina team-mate, Javier Mascherano, said: “I know the distance between Carlos and his children is hard for him. It is damaging for his work. He is more content [when he is] with them in Buenos Aires.”

LEAVE IT OUT! HOW TEVEZ'S REASONS FOR WANTING MOVE HAVE CHANGED
Carlos Tevez has changed his tune over the past seven months when it comes to his reasons for wanting to leave Manchester City.
December 2010: “My relationship with certain executives and individuals at the club has broken down and is now beyond repair. I hugely resent the management’s suggestions that I have been unduly influenced by others.
“I’m disappointed the management should now see fit to try to portray the situation in another light.”
